Added chassis pan detail to the boot floor. The stamped pattern is not 100% accurate but it's good enough for me.

From this angle you can see why the Rally Prep Manual recommended the recess in the chassis pan. It allows the exhaust system to fit tight to the chassis keeping it out of harms way.

I was determined to use the Reji photoetch grill. The issues is the headlight opening are too small. This would place the headlight lenses on top of the grill when the headlights should be recessed back into the grill. After much tedious grinding I was able to get the lenses to fight inside the opening. Compare the top grill to the bottom the see the amount of material that needs to be removed. I hop the results are worth the effort.

Work on the interior continues. The door panels in the kit are too short. I split them at the top of the door cards and added almost 1 scale inch to the height. Created and opening in the rear seat panel for the oil lines to connect to the trunk mounted oil tank.
Decided to use the steering wheel form the Reji resin kit.
Modified the hand brake and the fire extinguishers.

A few thing to note in this picture:
Jack and brackets. The jack comes from a Fujimi Porsche 356 and was modified to resemble the work's team jack.
Oil line brackets mounted to the drive shaft tunnel. The oil and fuel lines were installed inside the cockpit to protect them.
Removable panel on the transmission tunnel. The work's team created this to allow for quick access to the gear box.
Fireproof panel on the rear bulkhead.

The wheels that you have print are together with the tyres ,I think.
I have made firsrt wheels and then tyres.
De diameter of the rear rims are 15mm and 11mm wide
The rear tyres are 23mm diameter and also 11 mm wide.
These are not the final wheels but a try out version

Don't apologize Punch you're right the bumpers are too heavy. I appreciate the help. Now that I have clear picture of the driving light brackets I see that I got it wrong as well. The down leg of the bracket goes behind the bumper not on the face. I'll work on these issues. Thank you.

Fireball Modelworks sent me pictures of some painted samples. The sliver wheel was paint applied directly to the resin and shows the true detail level of the wheel. The blue wheel was primed then painted and the finish is a little to thick.

Those Minilites look absolutely fantastic. You are doing a superb job of upgrading a very mediocre kit. I wish some manufacturers would put this kind of effort in and re-life some of the several poor kits. But that would take some of our fun and frustration out of it for us. I'm not sure how the headphones were stowed. I have (1) picture in my collection with the headphones hanging from the roll hoop and (1) picture with them hooked around the kicker bar. As much as I like the look of them hanging from the roll hoop I think the other option was a more standard setup.
