Amazing job....!!! totally impressssss!!!! The M1 it's a great model , and with that decoration even better.
Keep going, keep going......

Can I ask you, what references are you using from T2M bolts, to get the correct size for 1/12..?
Thanks for it.
Regards from Spain.

I didn't use T2M bolts, only for the chain tensioner. The other are PE bolts from Top Studio and Hobby Design.
Thanks

Andrea - I just received my "2010 Laguna Seca" decals from nicolecron - the decals look fantastic and they do not have the errors of the Studio27 decals - I will start on my kit next weekend - also I'm going to build a "Spies" first win 2011 Assen Yamaha M-1 also nicolecron decals - John

I'm thinking about to buy a nicolecron sheet too and make again the fairing....let me know how the decal conforms to the surfaces , expecially the rear cowl....

Andrea - Thanks for sharing your motorcycle builds with the forum - they all turned out very well done. Also you helped with many answers for others that are waiting to build these models. - John

I go ahead with this WIP instead to open a new one as I'm building another Laguna Seca M1 for a friend of mine. It will be a new bike with a Top Studio detail set with the old (my) liverie.
A new liverie for mine will be made with nicolecron decal.

Going ahead with decals.... these are better than S27 but some problems with the black lines going from the front fairing to the side fairing. Short and curved.... I will have to work on them...

There is to retouch the black color around the front opening. I used an acrylic clear paint as 2K seems to much for me ,too thick....

Your work is FANTASTIC!!! I have a question I've been wondering about for a while... How on earth did you paint the small 'Brembo' letters? I've never been able to figure this out, and you guys make it look so perfect!

Again, brilliant work!

it's easy. You have to use two differente paints, usually enamel and acrylic. I paint the caliper in enamel (gold, silver, titanium etc) . When the paint is dry with a small brush I use tamiya acrylic red to put paint into the recessed letters. After a while with a cotton swab moistened with alchool I remove the excess paint. It's important the swab is always clean so I turn it in my finger every stroke and there is not too much alchol, jut moistened.....

Thanks so much! It's just one of those things that should be so obvious, but it's not to me. :grinyes:

I'll be trying this next time, thanks again.
