Tamiya Lancer Evo 6
Hello,
it's the Tamiya Lancer Evo 6 built box stock, exept the wheels and the paint. 4 Coats of Tamiya Clear Red (X27) over Gun Metal (X10). The rims are 18 inch Fujimi OZ Superturismo. The front is lowered a bit by using the struts of the Evo 6 WRC kit. When taking the pictures I realized that the car - no the model - has no filler neck.......... :-( :-) :-) Please feel free to give some comments! cheers Sebastian       |

Great paintjob. I'm surprised the clear red over gun metal looks so light. Did you tint the rear windows? What did you use?

I don't know if "filler neck" is the correct word. I guess it's not. I mean that you can't refuel the car because there is no "fuel door" or cover for the fuel tank cap. I used automotive tinting foil for tinting the windows. It's applied on the outside of the windows. If the windows aren't to curvy it works quite good. |
