Front License Plate Holder

Can someone tell me how to install the Front License plate holder for a 2006 Ford Escape. The Ford Dealership was a little pricey just to install it.

Thanks for any help that you can provide!

Re: Front License Plate Holder

Most of them have two plastic gromets on the bottom of the bumper. Most holders have two screw holes on the bottom. Two large phillips head bolts will be supplied with the unit. Take a screw put it through the left bottom hole then through the hole in the license plate. Put the screw driver in the bolt with the tip of the bolt in the center of the plastic gromet tighten it up about 1/2 way. Next put the other screw into the other side and license plate. Install it the same way. Tighten both bolts at this time you sometimes have to do a slight adjustment is the reason on going part way on the first one.
