How do you reset a service code? Even better, can I display the code prior to clearing it?

Re: 2005 Pacifica
Hi
You are talking the "check engine" light symbol? Many will reset if you disconnect the battery. However, better as you say is to read it. You will need an OBD-II scanner which will plug into the connector under the dash by the driver's right knee. Autozone and similar stores will read it for free and the scanner can, if you wish, clear the code. Obviously if it is an ongoing condition the light will come back on. |
