"The Bull" Lamborghini Countach LP400
This is Tamiya's Lamborghini LP400 built box stock, painted with Testors Boyd's Sunburst, which is a good 1970's orange. The interior is a custom mix leather color to replicate the darkish colors used in that era. The kit is kind of clunky and ill fitting in some areas, it has very close tolerances that don't allow for paint build up around engine cover and opening head lights. The panel lines are also razor thin, so widen those before you paint, the engine has very little detail so I built it curbside. I clear coated it with Gunze B501 Mr. Top Coat and applied a Yorozuya photo etch emblem set.

The mold no longer exists, because it was updated to the LP500S, so an unassembled LP400 is worth a fortune. [OOPS maybe not. it was reissued in 1986.] >Veyron Very clean model. Great job indeed. |

Wow, it looks so much different in pics than it did the last time I saw it when it was half-finished...can't really see the orange-ness in the pics. Reds/oranges are very hard to photograph.
Very nice...glad to see it finally finished!

Where do you get your Yoroyuza PE sets from ? The only place I know that sells them online is Hapico and they have a minimum order.

This is one cool Lambo.
Although I still like the LP500S version better. Man, this is really cool!
