Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
Well I finally got to dyno the new setup. I ran it on the Enthalpy tune due to time restrictions in getting the AEM tuned. Even so, today went really well.
Details: KA24DE T04R Full race manifold Still on stock internals(Cometic HG with reused stock head bolts) BC 264 cams Enthalpy tune 110 MON fuel 24psi, then 25psi So, my first run, I had really bad richness issues for obvious reasons. It did 449whp at 24psi and I saw "rich" a couple times on my wideband. So I pulled fuel and ran it again. This time, it did 480whp at 24psi. So, I decided to throw in another pound of boost, and it did a final number of 496whp at 25psi, which turned out to be 507whp with STD correction. Here is the graph: ![]() So it was definitely a good day at the dyno Here are a few pics for anyone that doesn't remember or know what my car looks like. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
1. Awesome numbers!!!
2. The fact that your car is beat up like that makes it ten times cooler. 3. How would you do against that Cobra now? 4. Don't you know? If you ran a SR20DET youd be making more power. Its a real fact. In just one night, a Nissan 240SX with an SR20DET swap driven by Chuck Norris himself beat the world record set by John Force 100 times.

Re: Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
hey cory long time no see. it amazes me that a stock block KA-T with a aftermarket headgasket on stock headstuds can hold that kind of power. I know you beat the piss out of that car alot. DAYMN~!!!! congrats man i'm glad that we still have you around representing the KA-T community. Me i'm just a forgotten member.

Re: Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
I did run Jimmy again last weekend a few times. He now sports a larger Kenne-Bell supercharger and headers. He was running 16psi and I was running 22psi. The races sucked because the roads were still a little wet, so I spun third and fourth. We never got a clean pull due to my traction issues. Hopefully, we will get some dry weather here in a bit and some clean pulls will be had.
Whats up Tat? I'm hoping for some 130mph trap speeds at this power level. Unfortunately, my current final drive isn't quite ideal for trap speeds.. Fourth gear redlines about 100ft after the 1000ft marker, so fifth is hard to get into without lag issues..

Re: Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
Looks like you might need a new cone filter soon. j/k... sweet ride and even sweeter numbers...

Re: Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
Not to often you hear about someone racing a Kenne Bell Cobra where the car racing against the Cobra, not the Cobra itself, has the traction issues. I'd like to see that race once you all have it sorted out in the dry and such...

Re: Latest dyno results from my POS showcar
Well he actually had traction issues against an Evo that he raced a few nights ago, so we both have our fun with traction. Its all in good fun though.. Neither of us care about whether we win or not, its all about having fun with motor vehicles.
