MAN TGA expedition vehicle - complete
The MAN TGA XXL based expedition vehicle is finally finished.
WIP thread is here. Thanks again for supporting the progress with encouraging comments I'll just let the pictures do the talking - enjoy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW: The blue film you see inside is protective film for the "glass". The roof is transparent and the interior is just very basic and removable as it was agreed before the build was started last August. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Cheers |

Re: MAN TGA expedition vehicle - complete
Yes, clearly this looks more like an actual truck then a model. Very nice and clean work you did, which was very apparant in your wip. Beautifully done.

Re: MAN TGA expedition vehicle - complete
Hot damn! I thought that first picture was a reference pic! Outstanding work and the photography is first rate. That low camera angle really increases the realism.

Re: MAN TGA expedition vehicle - complete
Hi Sebastian,
it is both convincing, the model and the photos, fantastic job. I just hope that "Unicat" is that good when producing the 1:1 truck

Seb - I can't believe my eyes!!
![]() Somehow I missed the WIP so this came as a complete surprise. Your build is so clean and your creative photo session so convincing that I REALLY was going through your photos waiting to reach the model and thinking to myself "Sh*t!, why is Seb putting in so many reference shots in a completed thread?!?!" Then I hit the end of the thread and then realised that I HAD been looking at the model!! BRAVO!

Re: MAN TGA expedition vehicle - complete
The reference thing has been issued a lot in your replies. And these guys are right. Great work as well as great photography to enhance the realism of your project. Congratulations. This is the first completed truck I look at, makes me wanna see more of these on the forum. What´s next?

Re: MAN TGA expedition vehicle - complete
Wow! Hot dog!
This stuff looks amazing! I wasn't expecting anything less then amazing seeing your build diary! Now finally i can get my mind around the fact that it's a truck for a dude traveling alone with all he needs. Terrific scratching and very nice creative thinking. One thing I wanted to ask tho... why is there a 70 AND an 80 at the back of the truck? You know... it's not like you can add those two together and have a max speed of 150 eh... oli |

Wow, that's incredible!
Very nice work, I'd love to be able to have a vehicle like that to travel around in at my leisure
