Merc slammer
Here's a slammered Merc. Started as a DTM car. I filled a few holes in the body and found a good use for some custom machined wheels I got from Ricky Couch. Paint is Alclad Prismatic Sapphire.
![]() ![]() ![]() I like the stance of these cars. |

Re: Merc slammer
very nice build, wheels are familiar!
those where made by me in a failed venture to start producing scale machined wheels Ricky bought a set from me at a show, unfortunately I heard that he passed away. He will be missed. Exceptionally gifted modeler and a nice guy. rick |

Re: Merc slammer
Alfa147 - I'm afraid bigger pics may show the flaws!
smcorolla - So, you made the wheels! I saw them at our local model show in Simpsonville a year ago and passed them up. Later I could have kicked myself for not getting a set. I asked Ricky who made them and he had a set that he gave me. Ricky's passing is a great loss, not only to us modelers, but to everyone that knew him. He was a real 'outside the box' thinker. |
