Re: 98 Malibu takes forever to get warm air

1) Thermostat stuck or no good? Does it overheat?
2) Bad heater core. Does it leak water into the passenger compartment?

Ok ok Lets see thermostat autozone/orealiy lowest to open is 160 or 190 also if it does leak water in the passager car then it does a bad heater core also might be the water pump water must not be passing right Also you have to let the car run about 10 minutes so the temp can go up and then having hot air also if that is all right it might be the control panel that is not work right try also when you turn on the car put it on all hot then let it for 5 min. then turn of the car go open the hood their is two lines coming out of the raditoir one goes to where the water pump is and when you turn the car off it has a screw open it a little at a time just when the antifreasze come out screw it back then turn on the car and see if now you have hot air
