There's a lot of guys who can't drive stick, it's not just girls. A new 240 will probbaly attract the same crowd of old guys in their midlife crisis that buy all the automatic V6 Mustangs.

BTW of speaking of new cheap cars....

I had the privelidge to sit in a new Pontiac Solstice the other day. It is a 20k car or so, but in reality it is REALLY nice, looks like a 30k+ car easily. It packs an Ecotec engine in a FR drivetrain style, this year it is availble in manual models only. Next year is talk of a supercharged version and an automatic version as options. It is light and supposed to be a competitor with the Miata, based on a newer chassis design........

This could be the newest new car drifter... I would certainly take one over a 350z or a RX8 from a weight, price, and originality factor. This car could be the turning point for GM, hopefully it catches on good. Pretty much their only performance cars are a Corvette, GTO, CTS-V.... all of which cost a lot more and pack v8's. I wouldn't call the Cobalt SS a sports car, but neither would I call the SRT-4 one.

i think the solstice is funny because nissan did that like 15 years ago...
2.4L, DOHC, RWD, entry level cost.....hmmmm......yup it still take a 240.

solstice is nice but the saturn sky looks way better. kinda like the opel speedster
im #1679 but hesitant because looking over all the sigs of ricers who want TT awd and 2000 different LSD's and to be able to go faster than an STi?

this is why online petitions dont work that often

werd... cars with 5 catalytic converters, shitload of o2 sensors, intakes that are more congested then I-95 in miami, traction control, no dipsticks, and stuff like Onstar where they can track u and control your vehicle sucks...

I think cars of the 90's were some of the best ever made imho.
