you can get a Z34 kit for the sedans but its a little pricey, otherwise not too much. Clear corner lenses, blackout tail lights, Cold air intake, Exhaust.
those are some thing that you normall could do. there are things for the lumina that can be done, but most of it has to be fabricated ya know? |

i am currently working on it and making it switchable so whenever i want, i can turn that blower on to get extra performance... i dont know how much effective it will be but, i am sure it will give a little difference because of the fresh cold air, if not too much. the reason i have choosed blower motor is that its meant to be running all the time without giving any heatups...and the rpm can be controlled too. i will post the results once i am done. Best Regards |

Re: What all can be done to a lumina?
Make your own. I used the k&n filter part number---E-1009. All I did was take the air box out and the screen that goes inside the maf sensor. Then the filter slipped right ontop of the maf and the filter comes with a clamp. It has a noticeable difference but not huge. And it make the motor sounds great.

This is not my car, but it shows everything I'm trying to explain and is the exact same thing I did. |

Even their own dyno numbers If believeable, aren't very impressive. and they are claiming 2-3 psi boost. Need a hell of a blower to flow that much air to a motor.

Re: What all can be done to a lumina?
those "electric Superchargers" are JUNK. They do absolutely nothing. Ok, so they produce moving air, but how do they create pressure? They don't, so their claims are horse-doody. CAI, free up the exhaust, re-calibrated PCM, that's about it.

Re: What all can be done to a lumina?
Now this might not actually work, I guy thats helping me on my lumina, he has a 92 euro 3.1 that the ECM went bad on.
Well he replaced the prom chip with one out of an Oldsmobile 98 with a 3.8L We don't have time slips, but his is close to twice as fast as mine. And will leave a good 20ft stripe on the road! I'm prepared to get shot down now! |
