P0502 = Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -Low Input = A = * DTC P502 will be stored in PCM history * Second gear only * Maximum line pressure * Freeze shift adapts from being updated * Inhibit TCC engagement

P0560 = System Voltage Malfunction = D = *DTC P0560 will be stored in PCM history *All transmission output devices are off *Freeze 1-2 shift adapts from being updated

P0712 = Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor Circuit -Low Input (high temperature indicated) = B = *DTC P0712 will be stored in PCM history *Transmission default temperature will be 135ºC (275ºF) *Freeze 1-2 shift adapts from being updated

Thanks for the endorsement, but I don't think this will help enough people to take up room at the top. I just wanted people to see what happens when a tranny code is set. A lot of these default actions would lead one to believe that the tranny is shot, when it fact the tranny is merely doing what it is suppose to do, under certain circumstances. Some transmission shops will prey on people who believe these conditions indicate that a tranny is bad.
