Rear wheel noise

Hello. I have a 99 Jimmy. It has just started making a rubbing noise from what seems to be the rear wheel ( driver's side). It goes away when I turn right. Louder when I turn left. Is this the infamous wheel bearing problem or just a brake prob. It does seem to go away a little when I depress the brake. Could it be something in the guard for my rotors? Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear wheel noise

It's probably your front wheel, and yes, probably the bearing. The noise is just traveling and disguising itself.

Re: Rear wheel noise

I had the noise fixed. It was a brake hardware problem.
