Question Any help for a new guy?

OK, I just got an '02 Civic LX 5-speed. I don't know much about these cars at all, other than I didn't like it or really respect it at all until I drove it. Anyway, since there is now one sitting in my driveway, I'd like to make it at least a little bit quicker. I know there is a TON of aftermarket for these (as opposed to my SHO, for which there is virtually nothing). K&N air filter? Some other type of cold air intake? BTW, I am leasing this car for 4 years, so anything I put on I wanna be able to take off fairly easily (and I don't mind spending my time under the hood of the car).

Well, the basic mods for anybody would begin with Intake, header and exhaust. Reputable companies that make intakes would be AEM or Iceman. Everybody has their own preference, so you'll have to make a decision on your own. Greddy makes good headers, and so does DC Sports, and there are many exhaust companies out there that are pretty good. Some to keep in mind would be Greddy, HKS, Apex'i, Tanabe or Thermal R&D. Hope this helps.

The Aftermarket suppport just started for the 01+ Civic's so some things might be harder to find as apposed to a 96 Civic lets say. Dont get me wrong...there are things out there....you just have to look.
