McLaren F1 GTR

as this is my first resin car it's a slow go

first it primed gray to find defects and for body work
after the body word was don it primed white then the red

even with out wheels and tires this car look's FAST!!!
i wish red showed up better in the pics

i forgot to paint the rear hatch when it did the body but it's ok
as it has a few fitment problems

Can't help staring at this beauty again and again...
Good luck with the engine hood fitment problems!
The rims suit the car perfectly!
I'd say go for a non-rear wing version! It's so sexy!

Re: McLaren F1 GTR

since this is the only McLaren F1 1/24 with engine, just display it with open engine hood. It will look great

btw, what are you doing with the paintjob/decal, you make a road version ?

Great work though - great rim and color choice! This has to be one of the most beautiful and most capable cars ever. Enzo - eat your heart out, this girl ain't much different, and she's pretty! Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see it all done up.

Re: McLaren F1 GTR

Why red? The decal sheet looks like the 1995 winner so shouldn't it be black?

I think the red is nice. I completely understand the McLaren wanting to be like a Ferrari

I always like to add this into my collection. I would paint it in orange, if I can have one.
