Question about KYB GR-2 shocks and struts

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my shocks and struts and was wondering if the KYB GR-2 shocks and struts are any good. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

No problem. It's just I really only see KYB, Tokico, and Koni shocks and I was leaning towards getting the KYB's.

Hi, I've tried to research on these shocks as well... from what I found ppl seem to have 50/50 opinions--some say they are great and have lasted them long (mainly for daily driving) and i've also read from others that they're crap and get blown real quick.. Another thing i've heard about the GR-2s is that they're the OEM shocks on 240sx's??? Not sure about that one though... Anyway, hope that helps you out a lil

Re: Question about KYB GR-2 shocks and struts

I'd say if they are anywhere in the range of $900 and up, go with a set of tokico or tien coilovers, they cost but, they come highly recomended. I am praying to the cars gods that by the time I finish my project and am ready to roll, the Praxis company will have finished testing and Mass producing the Praxis air suspension for the 240.
Why did they even start with WRX, they are not the majority of the performance scene, they only account for maybe 1%, majority was hondas, nissans, and stangs. I really told them off for that shit. I would kill to have them but for the 25 to life penalty, I guess I'll just come up with 3grand. Any of you ladies needs a slave, I'll sell my self for 3Gs.............going once...........going twice..............going sevenths.................. damn, guess it's back to job hunting.
