How much down time for swap?

well simple question, how much down time did you guys have for your 240's while doing the Sr, Rb or what ever swap. And do you have a second car? Reason why Im asking this is because the 240 is gonna basically be my only car my uncle has a garage two hours away with everything i need for the swap he just hasnt messed with fuel injected engines much, So Im getting the wiring done by heavy throttle or jgy customs in va. it takes two to four weeks for the wiring to get back and they need the ka and sr harnesses so on average thats itleast 3 weeks down, and since I yah know work and goto school I got a dilema. Would it be worth buying a beater car like an old crx or civic hatch or corolla for like $1500 and use that to beat around in while I install the engine in the 240 or does it just make more sense not to do it at all because of my circumstances o_O? Any opinions would be most helpfull.

and just remember, the civic sedan only weighs 1900 lbs. so if you need to redirect your energy, a cablbe trannied b16a is only about 1400. for about 2500-3000 you'd have one hell of a fun beater car.
