Tanx Vric,

The crowd is separated from the box, i took theses open pictures before closing the entire car with glue.

This model is curbside, only fake rear engine part.

The pictures are from such an angle but there is no real interest to have ot open.

Great stuff, clean and very quick build.
Also some very creative camera angles to hide the lack of engine! Looking forward to your next project.

Just great. The model looks fantastic. I wasn't sure how well these kits come out, and after seeing yours it might be worth picking one up... or two. Just beautiful, too bad about the engine detail, but it fooled me in your photos! The roundels looks kind of translucent, did you back them?

Levincer,
awesome job..I always wanted to build this car and you've inspired me to buy one!
Nice work on the wheels/tires.
I want to see the dash/closer interior pics. I caught the seat rivets in your buld-up...very cool!

Like 675datsun said "I always wanted to build this car and you've inspired me to buy one!"

Once I finish the other kits a GT-40 is a sure bet. Great job.

Funny thing is when I was playing GranTurismo today and lapped the GT-40 in my Mazda 787B I was almost sad...I love GT-40's.

I've got four GT40 kits - still haven't built one yet!
In fact I have to get another one because of the asymetrical rear wheels in the McLaren-Amon 1966 Le Mans kit.

But what about the Escort, Audi, Stratos, McLaren, Evo, SEAT and the rest I've started?
Plenty of time for classics in my retirement

yeah, so many projects so little time, isn't that the way. I still have to finish my W196, Lotus 99T, MP4/4, 300SLR Mille Miglia, Talbot Lago and FW 24. Then I'll get me a GT-40.
