97 Caravan low fuel light/bell goes off & on

I have a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan and the Low Fuel Light and its bell has started to intermittently go on and off. The Fuel Pump Module was replaced about 8 months ago but the Low Fuel Light issue just started happening.

Other issues that may or may not be related:
A couple of other issues also recently started including the RPM and speedometer do not function on some occasions unless the car is turned off and back on and a power door lock started not always working.

My most pressing issue is to resolve the low fuel light problem and to determing if the others are a symptom of an overall electrical problem.

Any suggestions.

Re: 97 Caravan low fuel light/bell goes off & on

I had exactly the same problems on my.
For the fuel I changed the float system.
For the speedometer, I changed the speed detector.
Both fix where easy to do and did not cost me a lot of money. Never had any alarms after that.

I have a 98 caravan w/ 90,000 miles. The Oil light and bell goes on after running it for a few miles. What could this be? Oil is changed and full. Driving my wife nuts.

We have the same problem, once the fuel gets under full, it starts to "ding". We live with it!

most of the time, we play elevator..."ding" first floor sporting goods...and so on!

Help ..'97 voyager fuel light a

This seems to be a common problem ... My '97 Voyager does exactly the same thing. My dealer researched their archives to no avail - Chime dings and low oil light comes on when the tank is between full and 3/4, especally when turning right. Sometimes the gauge reads 0 and can be cycled to an accurate reading by turning the key off and on. Surely someone must know the cure. The chime is driving me crazy
