COMPLETE: Project Big Ballin' S600

Here it is boys and girls... Project Big Ballin' S600 all up in yer face! I got it finished last night, actually after I took these pics, although there are a couple things I'd like to mention. In the pics, the hood ornament and one wiper are missing, but I got them on.
The front license plate decal (same as the rear one) got destroyed as I was applying it, so I'm waiting to see if Tonioseven has his spare one for me. Otherwise I'll find a pair of european plates and use those.
You might notice that the S600 badge on the rear is crooked. That's because a couple of days after I applied it, I washed the body for the final clear coat, and I only noticed that it shifted after I was done painting. Rather than risk damaging the silver and having to repaint the whole thing, I left it as is.
The front wheels have some positive camber, and I tried to fix it while I was lowering the suspension, but I couldn't find an easy way, so I left that too.
Interestingly, I didn't use much glue on this model at all. The wheels, tires, rear license plate, front suspension, hood ornament and exhaust system aren't glued on. Even the body isn't glued to the chassis, and it fit on the second try, not like during all the previous mockups where the glass was giving me fits.
Enough words, here are the pics! I hope you enjoyed the progress thread and any comments are and were fully appreciated!

Till next time,

Phil

This is not a car, but a dream!!
The wheels you´ve chosen seem to be made for this Benz!

Very cool, the wheels are perfect & I like the contrast black windows & grey color. Good job!

WOW !!!!!!!!

Thats really cool, i too have been watching this thread, im as happy as you probably are to see it finished. As you know from earlier, i was so inspired from your first post that i went out and bought this kit. The body was damaged but now Revell have sent me a new one im going to get cracking at it. If it turns out half as nice as yours i'll be well pleased.

Nice one, Mike.
