Finished - Blue Ferrari Enzo

I finally finished this one.
I'm very happy with the turn out of this one. The color came out in the end better than what I had pictured in my head before I started this project.
The kit is by Revell. The paint is Tamiya TS-44. The front end was lowered slightly, and the airbox was covered with ScaleMotorsports blue carbon fiber decals. The rest was built basically box stock.

Thanks for looking, and for all of the positive feedback during the progress thread found HERE

Here are the pics.
Let me know what ya think!

That's quite nice!

Just, when I see that shade on a car I think "Bugatti" not Ferrari...

I know Ferrari painted at least one blue and there is a white one as well...

Re: Finished - Blue Ferrari Enzo

Of the unusual colours I've seen a white, blue (darker shade than the example here) and silver one.

Looking quite good. I like it a lot.

And I agree with TR. It's got a very Bugatti feel to it in that color.

I so totally agree!

You have to see the model in person, the pics don't show you how crisp/clean/perfect the paint job is. Sometimes a model looks better in pics, this one looks even better in person (just like a real Ferrari).

Re: Finished - Blue Ferrari Enzo

Never thought I'd say this but, that's a nice blue Ferrari! Always liked yellow, red, and white... never blue. AWESOME

Re: Finished - Blue Ferrari Enzo

Its nice to see a Ferrari that's not red, black, or yellow. Good job!

Will you be going to the IMPS show in a couple of weeks?

Thanks for the great comments so far guys!

Bob (ZoomZoomMX-5) - Thanks! You're right about the finish. I just can't capture it well in photos. It's by far my best finish to date, and the new standard for all my future builds.

Ferrari TR & ales - Do you have any pics of the blue and white Enzo's? I'd love to see 'em.

p9o1r1sche - I will be at the IPMS show. I look forward to seeing you there. I'm gonna have to find a nice quiet spot for this car, away from your Enzo, so it doesn't suffer by comparison.
