Question Maintain vehicle in North USA w/sand HOW ??

Hey there,

I am a native Texan and Snow w/ sand is not a goodie when it comes
to autos I know. For those of you that live in these areas what is
your trick for maintain a vehicle in these conditions.
BTW- it's a Saturn 2003 VUE V6 AWD. It's been great, I just want to
make sure it stays that way. The only thing I can think of it too rinse
the underside. Unfortunately, with several days of below freezing
days that is not possible OR WISE.

Any hints ??

Slade

salt not sand is the big deal

having typed that, there is a lot of sand from the salty oceans used to provide melting and traction.

Washing is the only way to protect metal.

Later,
