Ac

I had driven my Tahoe about thirty miles and the air was working great, got home and parked it and heard a hissing noise coming from under the hood. I determined that it was coming from the passenger side. Today went to drive it and the ac was not blowing cold air, any ideas?

there is a high pressure release valve for dumping pressures if too high could be it got stuck open. check for leaks use the UV dye in the R134 charging cans .

sometimes on shutdown it will hiss. high side pressure goes into the low side to equalize the system.

Re: Ac

Their is an electrical connector on the rear of the compressor any chance that it is leaking from there I found the vehicle harness dangling.
