2002 dodge ram truck
Right blinker blinks really fast the left is normal. I checked the bulbs there the correct # and the bulb out light comes on.
Any ideas on this one? |

Do both front and back blinkers work?

Yes every thing works it's just fast like there is an extra bulb or wrong bulb in line.

Re: 2002 dodge ram truck
Ok was doing some checking and 4 ways don't do it. It has a tow package on it and it shows a quick flashing there also it's like a short but not enough to blow fuse just really fast blinking. like a resistor is in line causing flasher to heat quicker. it's like adding a trailer but not changing the right flasher to slow it down.

Re: 2002 dodge ram truck
Check all affected lamp sockets for internal shorts. Check the trailer lighting harness for damage.

Re: 2002 dodge ram truck
OK I took a week to fix the roof what a job! Turned out pretty good I have to sand and buff it yet but I'm wore out. besides it's 6 ft. 6 off the ground they would need a latter to see it.
Did the left rear fender while I was at it. I did get it sanded and buffed had a couple of nasty holes in it so I brazed them closed. Still have not got that stupid light figured out checked the wiring can't find any shorts it all works just a fast blinking on the one side Bulbs checked and are all OK; 4 ways work fine. The wiring is all clean and easy to get at. I have to get a picture of it to post. |
