Hey Marcel - that's pretty good - Ace91 "Adrian" is also doing a "trick star" ZX-10R - is the color more purple? it looks blueish in the pictures. What colors and color codes did you use. I don't suppose you have any WIP pictures??- is that an out of the box build? - John

Hi Marcel,

I'm currently building this kit but it's red. I've been looking everywhere for the reference pics but I can't find much. Do you know the links for some good pics on them?

Thanks.

Adrian

Re: Kawasaki ZX-10R 2011 EVA-01 RT Trick Star FRTR

Marcel, that bike looks awesome!!! congratulations.
Currently I'm working also on the same model.
About paint, I'm going to use X16 purple from tamiya and looks more blue.
Now, I have my doubts
I will try to find some information but It's really hard!!!
Bu the other hand, about the detail set you use, That is for 2010 model and you build a 2011 model.....Do you did some changes or modifications to use them?
I tought to buy that PE set but if s necesary to do something extra, my skills are not good enough.
Last question, can you share with me some tips or comments about building this model? no problem with decals? what about fitting process?
Hope mine looks a little bit good as yours.
Sorry about my english
Miguel

Nice Neon Genesis Evangelion Eva 1 paint scheme. Did anybody else notice or am I the only one who knows about that Anime?

i'm still hoping they do the eva-01 corolla axio that raced in the super GT. and good thing they did the rebuild series. the original was too emo-ish but i did like the original's ending.

going back, this is a great build. the eva-01 sheet, was that included with the kit?

bikouros - Anime is not that widespread outside of Japan, but yes many of us modelers know about Evangelion - I have that first kit with the Eva-01 sheet. The other kits they have do not have it - John

Re: Kawasaki ZX-10R 2011 EVA-01 RT Trick Star FRTR

Hi Marcel,

Nice work.

I want to ask you on how do you attach the fairings? Cause I'm currently having problem on the red bike that I'm making & so far, I've managed to reached to the last part that is attaching the fairings but I don't seem to be able to do like how you did here. How did you do that?

Thanks.

Adrian
