'99 Camry - Blinking Interior Light / Door Ajar

Hello All,
Got a problem I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
'99 Camry LE V6, when getting in the car the interior dome light seems normal, But when the car is started the dome light starts blinking (when it's set to AUTO and ON), The blinking is also in time with the "door ajar" dashboard light.

I am thinking maybe a faulty door sensor, but I don't know where I would find it and fix it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What happens when you close the door without the key in ignition/with key in ignition in 'on' position (engine not running)? I have found door switches to be a primary fault cause, usually L/F. The only way I know to check these is to pull switch and check for continuity. Hope this helps

the door switches are on the door jambs hidden underneath a rubber cover. These are easy to remove and clean. The cover pulls off and I think just one bolt holding it in. Over time the contacts become oxidized, making poor electrical contact. You can purchase new ones too.
