1998 Intrigue making weird thumping noise

My Intrigue is making a weird thumping noise when going down a bumpy road or when braking. It sounds like it is coming from the rear. Also, the brakes seem to pulsate a little when braking. Anybody have any idea what this might be?

Sounds to me like the thumping could be your struts and the shaking probably the brakes.
