Tamiya Honda NR 1/12
I`m kinda taken a break for cars and trying some bikes for now. I picked up an rather old kit from Tamiya, Honda NR. This kit is really cool. It has reproduced oval pistons in the engine block, so you can imagine how this engine looks inside. Anyway, here`s some progress:

Re: Tamiya Honda NR 1/12
looks great !
do you think too that motorcycles are harder than cars to build ? that's what i think after building a 1/9 ducati 996.

Yes, I think that bikes requires more skills than cars because itīs allways more details to paint during building process and they has alot of small parts witch had to be painted and fully dryed before they can be mounted. I asume you had buliding an Revell/Protar Ducce. Those kits are awfull. You had to do alot with ém to look realistic. Most of parts is molded together and some of them had to be cut loose so you can made them look more realistic. I had build a couple of Protar bikes and will not try another one again, atleast for a time. |

Cowlings are colored with base red, decaled and clearcoated. I had also drilled the brakediscs. Iīll let the cowlings fully harden and will not do so much with this project for a time now, atleast until after x-mas anyway. Youīll ever know what santa will bring to you...

Re: Tamiya Honda NR 1/12
i actually want to build a hayabusa for my brother, because he always goes on about how they wheelie from 120 - 300 or something, lol... but the masking and stuff has put me off a bit. maybe once im done with my cars that are in production...
