Re: All new interior pricing
I was wondering about interior pricing as well. Let me back up a second though....does anyone else with a Firebird/Trans-Am/Camaro have the little cracks in their door panels at the top about 3/4 of the way back? I have heard that is a common issue. Please tell me I'm not the only one. Both freakin door panels did it to me in the same damn spot.
So, my question is....does anyone know where to get the door panels for less than $350 each? I have been looking all over the web, and ebay, and no one that I found is selling for less than $350 each. Help! |

Re: All new interior pricing
I did find a guy on ebay that is selling a set for $450 but he speaks very bad English and I don't know if they have the clips, are new, or what.
Thanks for the reply though, and yes, it's a 2000 Trans-Am. |

Re: Question about door panel cracks
200TAinNE, I moved your posts from the other thread and started you a new thread. The other thread was fairly old, but I wanted to address your concern.
Any door panel from 98-02 will crack. It doesn't matter if it looks pristine at the time you buy it, it will crack. There are 2 easy remedy's to this. You can buy some 93-97 door panels from the junk yard for fairly cheap, since these have not shown to crack at all like the 98-02's. Or, you can follow this guide on how to repair your door panel. Though, if it's cracked all the way from the top to the bottom, it's a lost cause. Quote:

Re: Question about door panel cracks
Another online source for interior door panels is www.car-part.com. You enter your vehicle's info and select from a drop-down menu the part you are looking fr and click submit. You then get page(s) of results from salvage yards across the country with info on price condition and many times, color. The salvage yard's info is also there so that you may contact them w/ question sand shipping info. You can even refine your search to areas closer to you. I have a '95 Roadmaster, and these cars are notorious for cracked interior panels. We are in the same boat as you are in trying to find suitable replacements. I have found panels for my Roadmaster on that site where I couldn't anyplace else.
