Unhappy R32 Rb26dett to R32 Gts-4 swap problem

Has anyone auctually swapped a Rb26 into a Gts-4? I have seen many of them on the streets as sleepers and all over the yahoo auctions. so far on my project I have Installed the Rb26 and and seated the tranny and everything...

The only thins that i needed to swap:
tranny
2 A/C compressor lines
throttle cable
I had to modify the bracket for the foward power steering line.
starter
anit-lock control box
ECU and engine harness

The Drivetrain was identical other than the Diff....

however the car did not crank....

I'm getting fuel and spark.....The cars electrical system works fime. All the lights turn, The A/C blows air. The radio turn on. All of the electrical connectors match except one on the car harness side. There are 2 big whtie connectors on the GTR harness right by the power steering fluid cannister next to the Air flow sensors.. The RB20 and my car harness have only one plug in the same area... Can anyone shed some light as to what this plug is for os what other electrical things i need to swap from my rb20 harness???

I will post pics one i get them back from the developer

Once its done i will have a 550hp Gts-4 door.....

please help!!!

Did you remember the airflow meters? It sounds like you didn't. Those plugs are for GTR afm's which are different from normal RB ones.

Re: R32 Rb26dett to R32 Gts-4 swap problem

I used the Rb26 harness so that is not a problem... The extra plug is on the car side (the gts-4 car harness)
