Layla's Keeper and I are big fans of those sports. Their not so big out here in SoCal, but in Ohio where Layla's Keeper is located, thats the thing to do.
I'm sure he'll post up and tell ya allllll about his love of Super Modifieds.

Rossburg, Ohio is my Camelot, and Earl Baltes my King.
C'mon, this year was the first time I've missed the Brad Doty Classic since 1998. Regularly make the rounds at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway, with occasionals at Sharon and of course HAVE to make the trip out to Eldora whenever I can. Bet you take in the modifieds at Weedsport, am I right?

Ahh, big ol' Syracuse. Good track for DIRT Modifieds. Especially the big block guys like Lou Blaney.
Usually dad and I would hit Weedsport for fun after making trips to Oswego to catch the Supers. The DIRT cars are a lot of fun to catch up there. Wish they'd jouney out Ohio ways more often. We get TONS of sprint racing (which is perfect, since there's nothing finer on dirt than 410 sprints wailing into turn one) but beyond that it's usually (ugh) Dirt Late Models. ALMS, Xtreme Dirt Car, and now WoO Latemodels.

Ya sprintcars would be pretty fun to watch...closest to them would have to be sportman which I have watched but I do enjoy watching the limited/super lates goin around........but the class around my area closest to 358's would have to be the imcas.....looks like a superlate with the fender panels ripped off

Re: Anyone interested in Dirt track racing?
Though I don't follow it particularly closely, IMO the WoO Sprint cars are the most difficult race cars to drive of any major series in the world. You have a comparable power to weight ratio of a Formula 1 car, with much more torque, a relatively high center of gravity, and you're driving on a changeable surface.
