Thumbs down Chevy Blazer -97

Does somone know what might be wrong with a -97 blazer that won´t start....

Start engine runs, NO indication such as check engine, airbag symbol etc. and no sound from the fuelpump....

I´ve checked:

-Varius cables and connectors ( big one on the wall )
-I have 12v up to the fuelpump relay and I´ve tested the relay itself,OK!
-No spark from the plugs. (ignitor and ditributorcap etc. OK)

Could it be the fuelpump itself ? Is there maybe a signal back from the
pump to the ignition circuit?

Or.....my "Onboard computer" that has gone....

Thankful for any tips you might have.

The truck just constantly tries to turn over? I had that problem in my 96. It turned out that the fuel pump needed to be replaced.

Thumbs up

Exactly that is what´s happening.

OK! With a full tank of gas this will be a job for a GM-service garage.

Thanks needed to know I wasn´t way of in my suspicion.

Yeah, we tried to feed it gas, into the engine, and it would try to run, but as soon as it ran out of the gas that we poured in, it just died. Mine was still under warranty, and brought it there, they fixed it. Never had the same problem, again.

another thing you might want to check out is your ECM fuse for your fuel system. I have a '95 and the ECM fuse kept blowing. The same thing would happen after that fuse blew, you could sit there and crank it all day and it wouldn't start. It problem ended up being a bolt sticking through a portion of a wiring harness on the engine compartment side of the firewall. I wasn't the one who fixed it or found that out, that's what I was told. I was also told to fix it, the dealer ended up taking the engine out to get to the harness. Then they replaced that portion of the harness, and cut the bold and capped with a piece of rubber. I haven't had a problem with my blazer since. I was also told that that was common in '95 - '97 blazers and that there was a recall to check for that exact thing. How much of that is truth I don't know. Like I said, this is just what I was told.
