Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC '03

nice painting so far.
I just bought the 2002 version.
as I see from your pictures, its exactly the same kit
(just different decals and painting)
I think its a great kit, what do you say?

Hello,

I wouldn't say on my opinion this kit is as good as that...
This is the 2002 early season version reboxed, ignoring car changed during the season except for the hood airintakes corrected from 3 to 2.
But what about the new wider rear wing with flaps and the new dashboard ?
You'll have to correct that for example with Renaissance TK to build it accurate.

otherwise rest of the kit is good.

Nice update. How did you fix the mask bleed on the driver's door and front bumper sills?

Looks fantastic! Love the interior and the chassis is really clean (too clean in my opinion!) shame the components are hidden under those skid pans. Those decals make the car look so good.

Looking fantastic.

Especially the underside and in particular the exhaust is looking great.
How did you get the chrome look on the exhaust parts ? BMF or paint ?

Looking forward to the finished kit !
