85 Dodge Aries Project *please help*
New here! Here's an old car, given to me by a neighbor. I am trying to make it a bit more aesthically appealing. I don't plan on owning it for more than a year and I don't want to put any more than 400-500 dollars into it since I doubt I will ever be able to sell it for more than $400. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Picture019.jpg Side of the car http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Picture021.jpg Interior Upholstery http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Picture023.jpg Photo from the back of the car http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Picture024.jpg Lara |

Since you only plan on keeping the car for a year and only want to put under $500 in it to make it more appealing , there really isn't much you can do. The headliner would probably take the longest/most time to repair. I've never did this type of repair, but from talking with other people who have done it , they say you pretty much have to replace the whole thing rather than try to fix it by gluing or other means. I'd probably drive the car as is and sell it when you are ready and hope to get as much as you can for it, meanwhile saving that money to get another vehicle that hopefully is in better shape. I wish the news were better but there doesn't seem to be a great demand for these vehicles used so if you put a lot of money into "fixing it up" you won't recoup it when you sell it.
