while at the junkyard i did come accross an unmolested 90 Integra...i briefly considered a rear disc conversion

I would chide you for not jumping on it but since you don't plan on keeping the civ it doesn't really matter. I look at my rear drums every day and get sick to my stomach. Whoever buys the car off you would certainly pay more for having rear discs but the extra money probably isn't worth the extra time and effort

I've had 3 people in the past 2 weeks come to my house and try to buy my car (since it's been sitting in my front yard for months). Crazy bastards think I'm going to sell my beautiful bitch. I still have 2 months left until I can put it on the road again, so I'm thinking about putting a "NOT FOR SALE" sign in the back window.

Once some guy tried to buy my car off me in the parking lot at autozone. Then he acted surprised when I told him it wasn't for sale.

a guy once stopped our house asking to buy the old black b16 hatch we had. told him not for sale but the 97 teg next to it was. he asks how many miles on the civic...i tell him not for sale, go look at the teg. he asks what's done to the civic. I tell him not for sale, go look at the teg. he starts to ask about the civic again. this is where I slam the door in his face mid sentence

maybe that was his own brand of reverse psychology. "He keeps asking about the civic, so I guess I must be selling it"

haha the second time he asked, you should have told him $10,000 & that it was a completely stock car. Guarentee that conversation would have ended in less that 2 minutes.

so had a long talk with the wife about selling the civic to get a bigger car and then came to the conclusion that we will just keep it and i can pay it off while on cruise and the buy her a car.
