Yes

If you read the latest C&D, you know about this car. It has a 286hp turbocharged I4 from VW. It is made in Eastern Europe, I believe. It is made of aluminum, has 4 instruments, and is super light. This, to me, is the ultimate car. It weighs less than an Elise, and has more than twice the power. I really want one. Its about 50K, and only 20 or so a year will be built.

I will try to get more later/fix my errors.

Young Engineers Sportscar.

I want one too.

The car is made in Germany; it weighs 585kg, built using Aluminium Space Frame technology [Audi A8/A2]. The "famous" VAG 1.8t engine, now on steroids, puts out 286 hp and 330 nm, no wonder the car goes from 0-100 in 4.1 seconds and 0-160 in 11.8.

As for the instruments, I counted 7

Ah, but there are 4 in front of you. Anyway, the point stands: If you don't need it, get it outta there! They are also planning an American version. So for those of us who lusted after a Tommykaira ZZ, we may be able to buy one on steriods

The name is simply YES.
It looks square because it is so small. Making it 'curvy' would require more metal and more mass. IT is hard to make small cars pretty. There are exceptions, or course, such as the Elise.

The car was designed by engineering students, who have since decided to try and make/sell a select few of them. So, as far as I know, the manufacturer is YES.

I will search for contact information tonight, if I have time.

Is the home site. They have an english link on the opening page, to. Seems its undergoing american federalization. Woohoo. Seems like they are actually succeeding.

A point to ponder; this car, at perhaps $50000, is faster than the Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari 550, Previous-gen 911 Turbo, etc.
