When do you leave negitive feedback?

On May 28th I bid on, won and paid for one of the new ACE Models 1/20 Shadow DN9 Long Beach version. It was put up for auction as a pre sale. I was aware of this and I do understand what this means. I have bought from the seller before from ebay as well as from his online site and have had no trouble before now. After the first month I emailed the seller to ask him the status of the order. He replied with no information as to when the item would arrive to him or be shipped to me. I waited patiantly and again after a second month emailed to find out if there was any new news. I got no reply. after about a week of not getting a reply I emailed again and included a second email address for myself in case the seller was having trouble with my normal address. Still no reply. Monday will be three months. It is my experiance that if you do not file feedback within three months after the auction end you lose the ability to do so. Yesterday I noticed that he again has the kit up for auction on ebay. I contacted him by way of the "ask the seller a question" option provided by ebay to ask him about my kit. Today, still no reply. I feel very strongly that I've done everything I can to find out when I'm going to recieve my kit. I sence found out when ACE has said the kit will be available. But is that any reason the seller should ignor my emails. I'm really close to fileing negitive feedback for this individual. What would you guys do??? Keep in mind tomarrow is the last day I have to file feedback for the item. All I'm asking for is a little communication. Tell me what is going on and I would probably not worry about the feedback. Ignor me and it just makes matters worse

Thank You All,

Did you try filing a complaint with Ebay?

Re: When do you leave negitive feedback?

just leave the feedback!! geez. you paid, and haven't received your model, or any attempt to inform you of why you haven't received it. Boy, it must really take a lot to piss you off.

if you aren't happy with the service give negative feedback.

Re: When do you leave negitive feedback?

I'd leave the negative feedback, since it might be too late by the time you try to resolve it through eBay. Did you keep a copy of all correspondence you sent the seller? This is a good idea in case you go through something like this in the future. I occasionally buy items off eBay and I save a copy of the emails I get from eBay concerning all the aspects of the sale. I also keep my PayPal receipt email copies, any emails sent by the seller, and I also have a saved copy of the auction listing in the "My EBAY" page in case I need to refer to it at some point in the future. All of these items can help your case if you have problems in the future and need to go to an arbitrary type process to solve it.

Re: When do you leave negitive feedback?

If you really don't wanna leave neg feedback just yet, open a dispute through Ebay. That way the transaction stays open for another 90 days and you don't have to put negative feedback if you think there's reason to not do so. You said he sent you info about when they'll be available, but has he sent you confirmation on when you will get yours? Did he even attempt to explain what in the blazes took him so long to provide info?

Re: When do you leave negitive feedback?

Just so there is no misunderstanding. He did not provide the info about when ACE is releaseing the kit. I found that info on the F1M web site. He has not made any effort to contact me, that I can tell, sence the first month.

Well to let you all know where I'm at with this guy this morning. I checked my feedback at ebay and my 90 days to file feedback for him expired today. I no longer can give him feedback for the item I bought and he has not delivered. So if it makes any differance to anyone I did not file negitive feedback for him. I think I probable would have given him Nutral feedback anyway. I think he will make good on the sale, it's just that I need to wait until "HE" is damn good and ready. For all of you that would like to avoid this kind of treatment. TNT Hobbies is the guys web site. Tom Walsh is the guys name and Speedman17 is the guys ebay screen name. I personally will not deal with him anymore. He has no business pre selling something with out having a confirmed shipping date from the manufacture.

well he has his name, all he needs is 411 or a phone book. a phone book works better because after you find his adress you can beat him with it.

Re: When do you leave negitive feedback?

Honestly, 2 months without ANY contact doesnt deserve a neg feedback? Did you pay with paypal? Dont they have a limit to how long you can file a claim on a transaction? I would have filed claims with both ( ebay and paypal if you in fact did use paypal) before those 90 days were up.

Re: When do you leave negitive feedback?

you would probably have to take all of his posessions, kill his family, take away his job and home, then remove all of his limbs. then he might get a little worked up.
