Hi guys.
Colored version of Safari. I used red paint Mr.Color fluorescent red № 171 I made the front protective frame for Safari. I try decals. Almost everything is good, need a few small changes. And he made the instrument panel for the Left Hand version. |

Impressive work as usual Roman! I'm in for this kit as well, when it's available.

Re: Nissan 240RS rally
That is so nice Roman! What make of masking tape do you use to get crisp lines? I always find that Tamiya tape bleeds paint underneath. I have tried some 3M vinyl tape 471+ which is 1/8" wide and seems to be much better so far.
The Safari bars look brilliant. This is better than any rally cars Tamiya have produced so I hope this is good compliment for your work. Put me on the order list! |

Re: Nissan 240RS rally
Hi !
Thank you. I use Tamiya tape for masking. But I will cut off the thin strip from the edge of the tape. If it does not do is not that straight edge on the body between the colors. I sometimes use a vinyl tape 3M. But it is thicker than the Tamiya. And I try to blow air brush from the edge of the tape. |

Re: Nissan 240RS rally
No Phil. It is printed on paper with adhesive. And I'm not cut out each letter individually. This is 1983.
For 1984 is not enough pictures. There is no way to see all of the labels. |

I'm surprised you can't find enough pics to add the 84 livery as it's mainly similar to 93. What are you missing exactly...? Would you consider 84 version if having enough or you definitely have chosen not to make 84 version ? Anyway I'll see what I can do with the kit, 83 Nissan livery and 84 safari livery, I think it will be fine for me. |

Re: Nissan 240RS rally
Nice progress!Perhaps you could add the small yellow ''Gr.B'' sign on the doors too.

Re: Nissan 240RS rally
That red in the first livery is eye blinding. Paint is flawless, good luck with progress and kits.
