Chat

How do I permanently turn off the incredibly annoying chat function?

Not only can I not turn it off any more, but those windows I can X out pop back up every different page I visit, even if I use the back button.

Re: Chat

Yes, I too would like the option to shut it off. Having a chat is nice, but having that thing pop up EVERY time I go to a new page really slows down the loading process. Can't they just designate a chat "room" so people that want to chat can go there instead of bogging down the whole forum?

Re: Chat

Folks, thanks for your concern.

There actually is an off feature on the chat. If you go to the main list - which indicates the individuals who are currently online - you will see at the top of the list an arrow on the right-hand side. If you click this, it will drop down two options, one of which is to "turn off" the chat.

I hope this helps!
