A new "messed up" car!

I finally got a new car. Took me a while but I did it. The dealer gave us a great deal on it but they said that we had to go in soon. I went with my mom to get it even though it was going to be at night. I have read everywhere that it is bad to get a car at night because then you cant see the defects but we did it anyways. We found some tiny scratches and some kind of spill on the paint but thought it was no big deal since it was 11:00 at night. So, the next day I look at my car in the sunlight. It had 4 deep but small scratches on one side and some medium ones on the other side from careless testdrivers. Also, there was a lot more of a splash of something yellow on the paint than I thought and there are some kind of dark and yellow speckles all over the bumper. We called the dealer to see if we could switch it for the same model. They never said no, they just said that the service department will "take care" of us. I am worried that buffing the surface will leave the clear coat thin and I dont think the car will ever be the same. There are also some interior defects. What should I do? We are bringing the car in tomorrow to have it looked at. Is there anyway to trade it? It will have 72 miles by the time we get there.

Step 1. Take your new car and find where he lives.
step 2. take your new car and point it at his house, with the headlights on (at night) so he can learn what happens if you sell sh!t cars (...at night).
step 3. Return the car promptly to his possesion for repair. by which i mean drive it into his house. then politely lean out of the car and say that "i thought these were your trading hours? why arnt you open? ...anyway, i promptly brought the car back for repairs? soon as possible please"

step 4. run like hell.

Thats why they say dont buy cars at night i say lesson learned ( the hard way do what DJJC said

Actually, they let me get another one. It has a small scratch on the left bumper but it is hard to see. It is much better than the other one. The service department also uses some kind of soap and they do not dry the car well so it leaves water spots. They suck at taking care of their cars.

I got a honda civic coupe. We got a great deal on the car but we paid for it in other ways. If they would just take better car of their cars and fix that F***ing service department they could be a good dealer.

One good thing in the deal, probably never have to get that Honda worked on anyway. Pretty trouble free cars for many miles. Might be better to tolerate a few minor things to keep them from messing up something major.
