Sounds like a broke shock
I've got a noise in the frontend of my 04 blazer that I cant fix I've replaced both shocks, all tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, gearbox, and nothing works. I've looked at the rubber bushings and can't find any missing but when I hit a bump or pothole it sounds like I have a broke shock what can it be someone help

Re: Sounds like a broke shock
I've pushed, pulled and looked at everything I can think of. I've spent over $1000 bucks and haven't got any results except now I've got a new frontend lol. I love my blazer but it's literally driving me crazy I'll check your suggestions thanks for your response. Oh and my tires are wearing evenly so that's a plus. I want to thank DelCoch it was the hood hinge washer causing all that racket.

Re: Sounds like a broke shock
Look at the large (~3" dia) washers on the bottom side of the body mount bushings at the front and intermediate positions. They may be damaged or missing. Mine were, and it hammered/thumped over large bumps.
