1998 Cutlass theft deterrent problem

Help! I have a '98 Cutlass Supreme with that annoying theft deterrent system. Had the ignition switch replaced twice since 2003 which seemed to fix it for a while. Again, it's going into that mode, security light goes on and it won't start for 10 minutes. I read another thread below about a '95 with the same problem and a way to bypass the system. I want to disable the security thing once and for all. Will the same work for my '98?

If your Cutlass has either Passkey or Passlock VATS system, the bypass procedure floating may work. Therefore, I see no problems with it working.
