Buying my girlfriend's first car
Hey Everyone,
My girlfriend just got her G2 license and wants to buy a car, she has very little driving experience (basically what she got from the driving school). She is philippino and is only 5' tall. I am looking for opinions on suitable size vehicles in a decent price range for beginner drivers. -J |

Re: Buying my girlfriend's first car
I was kind of thinking for her first car maybe 2 or 3 thousand. But i am more or less looking for opinions in value of different cars instead of what i can get a car for. I really have no idea what would be viable for her. Once i find that out i can worry about the price.
Thanks, -J |

Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra - all can be found in your price range, but you will have to get an older model. My 1997 Honda Civic cost me $3k a year and a half ago and I love that I get 32mpg even when running mostly around town!

Re: Buying my girlfriend's first car
She is enough tall to drive a car, and can learn driving soon. Learning driving is not a time consuming task. There are many cars available in market like Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra and many more. You can choice any of them which suit your budget too and style which will suit her likes…

Re: Buying my girlfriend's first car
Thanks James.
Yes she is tall enough to drive a car, but i have shorter friends who found it uncomfortable driving specific vehicles. I was more or less looking for a matter of opinion from other shorter people, or people who have been behind the wheel of many different vehicles. I appreciate your response. -J |
