o2 sensor not switching

found o2 not switching sensor 2 replaced sensor and reset light. rescanned and found 8 different codes

p0140
p1189
p1626
u1040
u1064
u1096
anyone have this problem before???

It would help to annotate what year model GM car to include engine size in your post.

Did you have the other DTCs before replacing the 02 sensor?

The main ones of concern are the UXXXX network codes which is a loss of class 2 serial communications data related to the PCM and/or BCM modules.

For example the U1301 DTC indicates- Class 2 Short to Battery.
