Bye Bye Street Racing

One ticket is enough for me. First time I ever got pulled over. And they fucking stick it to me. I'm going to try my best not to speed, and I think I'm done with street racing. Still gonna race at the track though... But yeah..all good things come to an end..I've been street racing for about a year without getting pulled over..I finally got pulled over. Luckily, I wasn't racing at the time. But yeah..it's been fun.

Sorry to hear that man, At the track depending on what you do it can be more fun then on the street. I dunno if u like road coarses but i would def sign up with the scca and get involved with races over there. Luckly for me when i am not out being a bonehead and looken for streat races, i drive like a grandma either right at or or a lil under the speed limit. Keeps me outa trouble and saves gas.

EDIT: at street racer

Re: Bye Bye Street Racing

Its better at the track anyways. No excuses, no innocent lives at stake, and no cops.

You'll eventually run into people on the street and race them though. Maybe now you don't think so, but down the road you'll get the itch again as sad as it is. Make sure you get an attorney to take care of that ticket yikes 85 in a 45 is bad.

Re: Bye Bye Street Racing

Dampachi, you're such a wuss. All this talk about racing Detroit, Luos, me, and now you're gonna quit because a cop pulled you over for speeding . Now you're just making excuses. That's cool. You know, it's alright to back down. I understand. Take the easy way out. If that's how you want to be. J/P dampachi. Well, alteast there is always the track, but what about when the tracks are closed? What are you going to do then? L8...

His girlfreind. Everyone loves racing, but we can find other things to do rather then 24/7 racing. Giving up street racing is a good sign of maturity, unfortunatly im not there yet. With a track near by, he is sure to have alot more fun, and instead of radials he can be on slicks. He will have lots of fun indeed.

Re: Bye Bye Street Racing

I'll race you guys at the track. I didn't get a $40 ticket for 5 over..or something like that. I got a $275 5 point ticket. For speeding. For going 83mph. By radar. On the same road I street race on. Imagine if I got pulled over street racing+speeding. I'd be fucked. Not that I'm not already.

Re: Bye Bye Street Racing

Man...only 5 points for that? Here, it woulda been nasty. Points systems must be a little different.

I got a 6 point ticket for 22 over driving a fucking Saturn. Never been ticketed driving my T/A, and only gotten one minor ticket in the Grand Am. I got nailed for 77 in a 55 in a 99 Saturn SC2. I didn't know the damn thing went that fast.....

Good luck Damp, seeing as it is your first ticket, I bet it gets lowered at least.
