Decals needed- BMW roundels
I am in need of some BMW roundels decals for a 1/24 car. At a minimum I need one set- nose, tail, and four wheels. Used to be that I would order a set of replacement decals (maybe of Tamiya's Z3) from Tamiya USA or HLJ- but it seems that is harder than it used to be. So I'm looking for another solution, or an idea. Does anyone make a replacement set? I've searched but not found. I thought for a while that decaldoc did, but not in 1/24. Could a set be easily printed? I have no artwork, and really don't know how to produce it. My fantasy here would be a small sheet of a bunch of roundels- say a dozen of the bonnet/boot size, two dozen of the wheels, and maybe a few 1/12 bike size also- but again at the moment one set would do me very nicely.
Any thoughts?

Re: Decals needed- BMW roundels
I bought these, which aren't decals, but look pretty good!
http://www.mediamixhobby.com.sg/shop...l#.ViHCYdZ99X4 The parts dept at HLJ was great...I need a Fujimi Lambo Diablo VT driver's mirror and could have easily got one through HLJ back in the day. |

Re: Decals needed- BMW roundels
Amazing- I am exactly the market for that, and had no idea it existed. Must have!! And it meets a lot of my needs.
But I am still in need of at least two good waterslide boot/bonnet size roundel decals.

They're sold out in the link provided. Andy, I'll take a look tonight and see if I have spares to give you.

I'm almost certain I have some.
Maybe some etched badges too. Time for a dig around.

Re: Decals needed- BMW roundels
Much appreciated- but I received some decals and ordered some of the etched badges. Crisis averted for the moment, thanks Bernard!
I other news, I seriously am building again. Have been for several weeks. I should have some fun stuff to share shortly.

i'm a huge fan of those type of 'metal decal' badges. i rarely use the ones that come in kits unless i have to!
