!995 GM Map Sensor Removal Tool
Hey Guys,
Does anyone know what size Torx Driver is used to remove the MAF Sensor on a '95 GM? I have down to an "8" but that seems too big. "6" maybe? Just don't want to buy what I don't need. Many thanks....Bobby That is the sensor attached to the top of the Tube after the Air Filter on the Air Filter assembly - has the 2 filaments that you spray and a connector!! I put MAP by mistake in the Title. Last edited by miamibob; 01-04-2009 at 07:55 PM. |

Don't those have the tamper proof torx? If I remenber correctly, ours had a tamper proof head with the little dot raised in the center.

It is a T20 tamper proof Torx. Just went to a CV and checked the size. If you don't want to buy a tamper proof, just gingerly drill the dot out of the center. Then a T20 will work.
