Rear bumper interchangeability
Folks, based on the research I’ve done it appears the rear bumpers from the pickup trucks and the Tahoe‘s/suburbans are not interchangeable. Does anyone know if it’s simply different mounting brackets, or are the mounting holes in the bumper actually different? Lots of shiny chrome Tahoe and suburban bumpers in the junkyard that I would love for my pick up truck…

Re: Rear bumper interchangeability
I'm pretty sure the utility body (Suburban/Tahoe) has a different frame, so it could be brackets, or both the brackets and face bar.
You could get a complete set with brackets and experiment, but at the risk of none of it fitting.

Re: Rear bumper interchangeability
Just a follow-up, the bumpers are indeed the same but the outer brackets are different. The pickup truck brackets will bolt in place of the utility body brackets.
