My old 25t was being set up for street/curcuit. I had done some basic power mods, but the suspnesion/handling was awesome. Bilsteins, lowered about 20mm, bigger Impul sway bars, some moderate seam welding was also done. Needless to say, it stuck like shit to a blanket. Shame I had to sell it...... still, can always wait till I get another liner and start over again.

My goal.
Cost effective power, with reliabilty being my number one priority. 2530s seems to be the turbo of choice. Not too much power, because that is when you start breaking other components. I have been around cars long enough to know a few secrets from the other camps (American Muscle Car) that I will try on my GTR. I really cannot start my modding process until I get my car back to the states as far as the engine is concerned, but I will be doing Brakes, electronics, and suspension while overseas. I am looking to go with Tein HAs, Power FC, commander, turbo timer, strut brace, elecric fan, under drive pulleys, adj cam pullies, water injection, Z32 AFMs, and some R33 Brembos. If anyone has a better idea on what route I should take, PM me. |

High 9's
Reliabilty?...uhh I'm not very good to cars I've played in the 10's long enough with the Supra. I want to break into the 9's once, as in 9.99 will make me happy, and then I'll probably turn it into a rolling advertiesment for the shop.

Currently aiming to have a reliable and driveable car with loads of power to scare the shit of any thing with 4 wheels on the road or track! And that means between 550-600 rwhp or thereabout!
Ultimately, and of course, money permitting, aiming to race my GTR in a support race for the JGTCC over here. That means converting it into a full race car.

Car's in the shop to get some new, stuff eventually I may take it up to 600HP but right now I am just trying to keep a safe everyday car. Maybe 400 to 500 hp for now. Still not sure wether or not to get some body kits.

I missed the poll (haven't been able to check AF for ages ), but the goal I guess would be called performance/street. There's only so much you can use on the road without running afoul of The Man, and/or risking injury to yourself /others. Anyway.....
Currently cat-back exhaust - without the cat - and pod filter = 173kW at the rear wheels. Need front-mount intercooler so the turbo isn't working so hard, and straighten out the strange factory two-stage boost (though I probably won't raise it significantly), and I'll be damn happy. Probably the best mod so far was just recent: Toyo T1s Proxes. Car now sticks in the wet just the same as the dry

The GXi is a daily driver, and a step up from the heap of sh*t that it replaced. Can't see myself doing much more than a very mild makeover, unless it needs major mechanical work in the near future. If I had to replace the motor,I might consider turning it into a sleeper....
